Far Cry 5 Wont Launch. When i press play i get the "preparing to launch far cry 5" to show up. It disappears immediately and Far cry 5 will say "running" next to it for a few seconds before it stops, no syncing after or anything. Ive tried checking task manager, restarting my pc, checking for windows updates, reinstalling the game 3 times now

When it happens, I press he PS button (not closing the application) > Settings > Network > Test Internet Connection. When that's done double tap the PS button and the loading screen is gone. Hope this works for you. Mine says fetching items every time but its only for 3 to 4 seconds. Don't have this problem on PS4.

Fully makes me not want to buy the 6th installment if I'm going to do a bunch of work just for the damn thing to get stuck. I'm playing through Ubisoft. So, PC. Head to 'My Games and Apps' on your Xbox console. Find Far Cry 5 and hit 'Manage Game & Add Ons'. Navigate to 'Compatibility Options' and select FPS Boost. Enable FPS boost for Far Cry 5. If you have Far Cry 5 loaded up whilst making these changes, you'll need to reload the game before they'll apply. When I click on that message it takes me to the main page of the game where the install button supposed to be, but it's greyed out and states not available It's linked with my Ubisoft Connect account and I have it installed and it worked in the past with the R6 Extraction so I don't really understand the issue and would appreciate some advice

Not sure if this helps or not as this thread is getting a little long in the tooth, but I play Far Cry 5 and Far Cry New Dawn religiously on my system and have never noticed slow-downs or stutters at all. I run both in 1440p at (near) max settings. I have a few settings at medium. Here are my specs: i5-9600K (stock 4.4Ghz) with EVO 212 RGB Not getting past the first loading screen in far cry 5. So i downloaded and installed fitgirls far cry 5 repack and it crashes literally every time im in the loading screen, the one after you pick a gender. Something was missing after it validated the files right after it was installed but i forgot what it was and dunno how to check again. I got Far Cry 5 today and came into this weird bug. I got to the point where you’re on the radio tower on Dutch’s Island, but my game then cut to a black screen, with it now saying Install Progress: 86%. As well, my Downloads/Uploads queue still has the game downloading, except it’s complete. It just says can’t install now, and when I The loading screens and menu music are great. Don't get the hate 5 receives personally I thought it was pretty good, new dawn however is a bit average and could be much better. I liked everything else but the story. The story was cringy and the countless abductions and escaping was just too much.
Originally posted by mts007: theres a save feature in the main menu, i dont know why, doesnt seem to work. im remembering now why back in the day i bought games that had a quick save button like F5 or something like that. i now have to start from scratch the whole john seed bunker all the way from top when i was in silo and took a break. effing
Hi all, I've just booted up Farcry 5 on my new PC and fps performance is below 30 which is very odd as it's a well specced PC that runs everything else at 60+. The problem is the same for both in game and during the Benchmarking option. I think for some reason it's not using the power of my GPU as NXZT Cam is reporting that GPU load is at 0%.

DanLoeb Apr 1, 2018 @ 10:18am. sometimes steam doesn't close it's game-tied process right, open task manager and end the one that isn't steam client bootstrapper, it's typically called steam client service. it's the in-game overlay handler. it can bug out and keep running after a game closes and then steam thinks the game is still running. #1.
Far Cry 5 Not talking about load times (though those are quite long) but often I'll just be driving around a region exploring and all of a sudden the screen will freeze and I can see a loading icon in the top corner, which made me assume that it's still loading in the world as I'm driving.

Click here to jump to that post. I found a fix for my system. Go to My Documents/My Games/Far Cry 5, and open gamerprofile. and set GPUMaxBuffered=1 and DisableLoadingMip=1. I also went back into Nvidia CP and turned triple buffering off, set Vsync to ON, not FAST and Turned Threaded Optimization back to AUTO.

Yeah same issue, Was working fine the night before, I took out the disc and cleaned it thoroughly, and the ps5 and disc are both new, and other games work perfectly fine
Disable Discord Overlay. Launch the Discord app > Click on the gear icon at the bottom. Click on Overlay under App Settings > Turn on the Enable in-game overlay. Click on the Games tab > Select Far Cry 5. Finally, turn off the Enable in-game overlay toggle. Make sure to reboot your PC to apply changes.
If you are running 2400mhz on the RAM, try to OC it. Also, if you are limiting frame rate with in game limiter it could be that. Uncap the framerate from within the game, cap with geforce drivers instead. I don't think the cpu is the issue. In game my cpu usage stays around 35% most of the time so there is plenty left. .
