Welcome to the forum. I personally wouldn't bother with the SD card, after having the same consideration when I bought my latest Audi. I plug my phone in ti the USB port and use the Android Auto (or Apple Play) which allows Google Maps. If you really want to use the factory Nav, buy the latest card your budget will allow. craigyb. You already have a navigation system then, as that is the RNS-E to me. You need a new 2007 or 2008 DVD navigation disk for the nav system to work, if you press the button next to the volume control the screen will drop down where you can insert the DVD. I'm in the UK and I. have a 2016 Audi A6 Avant, and it has the standard dash and standard infotainment screen (stock photos attached from Google).
